Man, thank GOD that KDAY is back. I know most people don’t fuck with Los Angeles music radio at all, but in my line of work oftentimes all I got is the radio for entertainment. And man has KDAY saved my ears and radio in general in Los Angeles. Honestly, if you are a cool person and have taste in music, and live or are in Los Angeles, listen to 93.5 KDAY. Its amazing. No longer do I have to listen to Drake/autotune lovesongs until my ears are raped by the trifecta from hell (Power 106 105.9, Amp Radio 97.1, the Beat 93.5 before the switch to KDAY) into memorizing all the lyrics against my will. Honestly FUCK all three of the aformentioned  butt stations for playing THE SAME FUCKING SONGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. FUCK YOU. The funny thing is these stations have DJs, but all they do is play the same shitty songs over and over again. Now I know why every frat house I can think of is like training camp for bad DJ’s. The radio makes it seem like all you need to do is have poor taste in music and be into everything you see on TV and you’ll be successful. And honestly, for stations like  the trifecta from hell, that formula works. I remember my homie was saying FUCK that Drake song Best I Ever Had like 4 months before they stopped playing it every other song. In fact, I remember one night when the trifecta from hell was playing that song all at the same time. Really?

Then a few months ago, Jesus’ favorite station resurrected, KDAY. KDAY is like the oldies of the hip-hop generation. Growing up I never thought I’d be that old fart telling the youth, “Your music sucks, in my day… blah blah blah.” But honestly, FUCK the youth and their music. I’m right and KDAY is living proof.

So the moral of this essay I just wrote is that KDAY is the best station on LA radio and humanity thinks your life sucks if KDAY isn’t in your radio rotation. Honestly, since KDAY started, I can bear Power 106 (sorry Amp, no can do for you). Now instead of being a member of the trifecta from hell Power 106 is like that guy who is the best Division II track athlete : its cool when he wins the 100 yard dash but nobody cares and everyone knows a legless Usain Bolt (KDAY) would still wax that ass.
